ABOUT
Science is a way of life. Science is a perspective. Science is the
process that takes us from confusion to understanding in a manner that's
precise, predictive and reliable - a transformation, for those lucky
enough to experience it, that is empowering and emotional.
Sometimes nature guards her secrets with the unbreakable grip of
physical law. Sometimes the true nature of reality beckons from just
beyond the horizon.
Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.
The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own
reason for existence. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates
the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of
reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this
mystery each day.
The fact that we live at the bottom of a deep gravity well, on the surface of a gas covered planet going around a nuclear fireball 90 million miles away and think this to be normal is obviously some indication of how skewed our perspective tends to be.
